Serebrum Wins State of New Jersey Contract to Implement Nation's First J2EE Web-based MVC Scheduling System


Iselin, NJ - January 23, 2006

Serebrum Corporation today announced that it has won a
five-year contract with the State of New Jersey Motor Vehicle
Commission (NJMVC) to implement an automated multifunctional scheduling system. The new system will upgrade the NJMVC’s
internal scheduling capabilities, as well as roll out citizen self-service applications across the State. This is the first J2EE Web-based
Scheduling System of its kind in the United States, incorporating the latest Web and IVR innovations to improve the productivity and responsiveness of NJMVC staff.

Serebrum is a pure-play leader in developing and implementing
Web-based solutions based on the J2EE architecture, having
designed solutions for Wall Street and insurance clients. For the
project, Serebrum assembled a team of technology vendors and
will provide project management for the full project lifecycle
including, including requirements and design analysis, development, construction, testing, documentation, training, implementation and ongoing support. The project is unique in that the system must
meet strict open systems standards required by the NJMVC, as well as
replace and enhance a number of existing legacy and desktop-based applications. The resulting system will be the nation’s first automated multifunctional scheduling system for a State Motor Vehicle Agency based on Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) technology and IBM WebSphere.
